2024 Activity report (partly as of the end of 2023)
January 22nd and 24th: Fundraising in front of the station (Hankyu Ibaraki City Station). A total of 30 high-school students from two UNESCO schools participated a donation for the restoration and reconstruction of the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on New Year's Day. At a later date, the donations will be delivered to the site by the Minoh UNESCO Association.

March 27th and 28th: ​​Donation in front of the station (in front of Umeda Station, Osaka, 30 students in total), a total of 30 high-school students from two UNESCO schools participated a fundraising to support reconstruction from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

June 17th and 18th: Fundraising in front of the station (in front of Hankyu Ibaraki City Station, 60 participants) 60 high school students from 4 schools raised money for activities in Kesennuma.

July 12-16: Kesennuma local volunteer (36 participants) 36 high school students from 4 schools volunteered in Kesennuma.

August 24th: Tamashima District Summer Festival (22 participants) Students from the UNESCO Club and Social and Cultural Communication course helped out at the mock shop.

September 17th and 18th: Fundraising in front of the station (in front of Umeda Station, Osaka, 37 participants) 37 high school students from 3 UNESCO schools held a fundraiser for recovery efforts following the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

September 20-22nd: Local volunteer work on the Noto Peninsula (20 participants) Local volunteer work was carried out by 20 high school students from 3 schools. A special heavy rain warning was issued on September 21st, but we changed our plans and returned safely to Osaka on September 21st.

November 23rd: Earthquake recovery activities announced at the Oike District Cultural Festival (7 people). Students from Hokusetsu Tsubasa High School report on support activities in Kesennuma and Noto.

December 15: UNESCO Experience Presentation Meeting(Prefectural Kasugaoka High School, 40 participants) Seven UNESCO schools gathered to report on their activities over the past year. Eleven students from our school participated and reported on their activities in Kesennuma and Noto.

January 14th and 15th, 2025: Donation in front of the station (Hankyu Ibaraki City Station). We are preparing to raise funds for an exchange event inviting Kesennuma High School, Kesennuma Koyo High School, and Minamisanriku High School.
March 28-30, 2025: Exchange with Kesennuma High School, Kesennuma Koyo High School, and Minamisanriku High School in Osaka (in preparation). Baseball practice games, exchanges between elementary and high school students, AED classes for elementary school students, and attractions for young children are currently being prepared.

March 28-30, 2025 High school students from Miyagi will be invited to Osaka for exchange.

Based on the above, we will conduct activities by recruiting participants from all students at the school. We will be holding fundraisers in front of the station, local festivals, and presentations on our experiences.
